Dyslexia is a learning disability that makes it difficult to read and write. because dyslexia appears to affect parts of the brain concerned with language, interfering the ability to convert written letters and words into speech.signs of symptoms that a young child may be at risk of dyslexia are late talking, learning new words slowly, difficulty learning nursery rhymes and difficulty playing rhyming games.in some kids, dyslexia isn’t picked up until later on, when they have trouble with more complex skills.these days may include grammar, reading comprehension, reading fluency, sentence structure and more in depth writing.i now know the causes and disabilities,dyslexia can cause to a child.
However, students with dyslexia often have many strengths, which can be maximized with the right help. the strengths of the dyslexia students are logical speakers, good verbal skills, often good at artistics subjects, often good at using technology, often good at sport, often good at working in 3d (construction, DT, ect), more able than written ability suggests.dyslexia brains are especially good at putting together big pictures, or seeing larger text, or imagining how processes will play out over the time, often highly creative, entrepreneurial, persistence, can easily grasp new concepts, seeing patterns connections and similarities that other don’t see, excellent at solving puzzles, holistic: they see the big picture don’t get lost in details get to the important aspects, excellent comprehension of stories or told to them, strong reasoning skills, understand abstract ideas, inclination to think outside the box.i now know the strengths and weaknesses for people with dyslexia and can now explain what and what are the causes of it.
In addition, specific strategies including the use of technology can help students overcome the challenge of dyslexia.
